THE 6 QUART BOWL ISN'T HEAVEY, SO YOU COULD DO FINE WITH IT. It has been a trial to mix up whipping cream, for example. The bowl is too deep for the smaller amount of liquid. It was a tedious chore to constantly stop and scrape the bowl. Therefore I was really excited to see this bowl advertised for the 5 qt bowl lift mixers. I attempted to fit it on my mixer & then the disappointment settled in. The bowl would have worked wonderfully except the holes that fit over the prongs on the mixer were off. The ad did not specify that it only fit certain 5 qt mixers. Apparently mine was not on the list. Be very aware before you buy this. I think it is a wonderful idea & only wish they would make one to fit mine. |
